Learn to paint with basic acrylic using easy to follow techniques and create your own art piece featuring landscape to seascapes paintings and still-life. No painting/drawing experience required! Students are encouraged to bring their 11x14 canvas and art supplies. Brushes and paints for first time students will be provided. 11 x 14 canvas is required.

FAQ about Art Classes at Michael's Store in Riverside, CA
For serious art students who want their own kits and plan to continue art lessons...
The Grumbacher student Acrylic art kit will have everything a first time students will need. The kit comes with paints, brushes, and canvas panels.
Just in case here's a list of the Grumbacher brand acrylics:
Cadmium red (light), Cadmium yellow (light), Ultramarine blue, and Titanium white
Brushes:
Golden or White Tacklon bristles
1” flat, ½“ flat, ¼” angle, #10 round, #8 round and #0 or #1 liner/script brush.
If they already have art supplies, great!! They are encouraged to bring them to class. If not, no worries,
just a 11 x 14 canvas or 11 x 14 drawing pad is all you need, paints and brushes or pencils will be provided for first time students
under the ART CLASS page
You may purchase one class at a time for $25 each or purchase 4 classes at a time for $65 by selecting the ART BUNDLE TAB. Classes will be taught in the Michaels Community Classroom, at the Michaels Art and Crafts store in Riverside 10345 Magnolia Ave. Riverside, 92505.

Just in case you want your own drawing graphite pencils, here's what we use in class:
(2H, 4H, HB, 4B, 8B) , vinyl erasers, and sharpener, or you may use your own art pencils if you have them already.
